My Great Grandmother's beef and rice dutch oven dish. So simple but very hearty and comforting! Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
3 cups water |
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Brown stew meat in a large dutch oven. 2. Add remaining ingredients to dutch oven and bake at 300 degrees F for 3 hours, covered. |
