Ingredients:
2 cup(s) chickpeas dried
1 tablespoon(s) canola oil
1 onion thinly sliced
3 clove(s) garlic minced
4 1/2 teaspoon(s) curry powder
1 pinch(s) cumin
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. ) Cook the chickpeas
2. ) Heat the oil in a heavy skillet and add the onion
3. ) Cook the onion until translucent
4. ) Add the garlic and stir well, frying for another minute
5. ) Add the curry powder and mix well
6. ) Cook for 30 seconds then add 1/4 cup of water
7. ) Put in the chickpeas and simmer for 5 minutes covered
8. ) Add 1 cup of water, the cumin, salt, pepper, simmer until tender
