Double Strawberry Ice Cream Pie |

Strawberry heaven! We love this refreshing pie in the warm months. Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) baked pie shells |
1 pint strawberry ice cream |
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert |
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries, sweetened |
1 1/4 cups boiling water |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatine in boiling water in 2 quart saucepan. 2. Add ice cream gradually by spoonfuls, stirring until melted. 3. Chill until thickened, but not set. 4. Fold in strawberries. 5. Pour into pie shell and chill until firm, about 30 minutes. |
