These yummy cookies won't last long, better make a double batch Ingredients:
1 extra moist deluxe yellow cake mix |
1/2 cup butter - melted |
1 egg |
1 pkg (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup fiely chopped pecans |
1 cup sliced almonds - divided |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Grease baking sheets 3. Combine cake mix, melted butter & egg in a large bowl 4. Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until just blended 5. Stir in chocolate chips, pecans & 1/4 cup almonds 6. Shape rounded Tblspns dough into balls 7. Place remaining 3/4 cup almonds in a shallow bowl 8. Press top of each dough ball into the almonds 9. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets 10. Bake for 9 - 11 mins or until lightly browned 11. Cool 2 mins on baking sheet & then move to wire racks to cool completely 12. Repeat until all dough is used 13. NOTE:- To prevent cookies from spreading too much, allow baking sheets to cool completely before baking each batch or use several baking sheets |
