Double-Dipped Chicken Strips |

Chicken strips made for the family - obviously not the best choice for a meal. Ingredients:
60 1/2 oz flour all purpose bleached enriched |
2 tbsp garlic powder |
2 tbsp onion powder |
4 1/2 tsp black pepper |
1 tbsp poultry seasoning |
2 tsp salt, table |
1/2 tsp seasoned pepper |
3 large egg, whole |
2 1/2 cup milk, nonfat, fluid |
80 oz chicken breast fillets boneless skinless |
Directions:
1. In one medium bowl, mix together 7 1/4 c flour, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and poultry seasoning. In a separate bowl, stir together milk and egg. 2. Heat the oil in a deep-fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Moisten each piece of chicken 3. with the wet mix, then dip in the dry mix. Shake off excess and dip in the wet mix, then dip in 4. the dry mix once more. 5. Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil. Fry for 15 to 18 minutes, or until well 6. browned. Smaller pieces will not take as long. Large pieces may take longer. Remove and 7. drain on paper towels before serving |
