If you love deviled eggs, you will love this one. The jalapenos and dijon really kick these up a notch. Enjoy Ingredients:
12 large hard cooked eggs peeled |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
2 teaspoons dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper |
2 jalapeno chilies seeded and finely diced |
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
fresh cilantro for garnish |
Directions:
1. Halve eggs lengthwise then remove yolks. 2. In a small bowl mash yolks with mayonnaise and mustard. 3. Stir in white pepper, jalapenos and relish then season with salt and pepper. 4. Transfer yolk mixture to a quart sized self sealing plastic bag. 5. Snip off small part of one corner and use bag to pipe filling into egg-white halves. 6. Place eggs on a serving tray then cover and refrigerate until serving time. 7. Garnish eggs with fresh cilantro sprigs. |
