Double Chocolate Peppermint Bark |

A great holiday dessert or anytime if your like me and love mints. Great to make with kids. Ingredients:
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate |
12 ounces white chocolate |
peppermints (crushed) |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1 tsp.peppermint extract |
Directions:
1. Line a cookie sheet with foil 2. Place a glass bowl into the top of a sauce pan with app. 2 cups of almost boiling water 3. Mix in the semi- sweet chocolate (melt chocolate some first) 4. Add 1 tsp. peppermint extract, 1/2 cup of whipping cream 5. Stir well 6. Pour out onto lined cookie sheet 7. Sprinkle with crush peppermints 8. Place into Refrigerator to cool. 9. Repeat all steps using the white chocolate 10. Remove first batch from frig. and pour white chocolate over top and sprinkle more crush peppermint on top. 11. Allow to cool I refrigerate mine to cool quicker. |
