Double Chocolate Oatie Cookies |

I found the recipe for these biscuits in Sainsbury's magazine, I can honestly say they are my favourite biscuits by far! Ingredients:
250 g butter (softened) |
50 g caster sugar |
115 g light brown sugar |
200 g self-rising flour |
175 g porridge oats |
115 g chocolate |
85 g white chocolate |
50 g glace cherries |
50 g raisins |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to Gas 4/180°C/350°F. 2. Grease and line a baking sheet with parchment. 3. Beat the softened butter with the sugars until light and fluffy. 4. Stir in the flour and oats. 5. Roughly chop the chocolate and cherries into ~1cm chunks. Stir into the mixture along with raisins. 6. Divide the mixture into 20 rough balls and space out on the baking sheet (they will spread). 7. Bake for 15-20 minutes. |
