Double Chocolate Girl Guide Brownies |

Another great recipe from my Grandmother! Similar filled-cookies can be substituted for the Girl Guide cookies. Ingredients:
4 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares |
1 cup butter (divided) |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3 eggs |
10 girl guide cookies, crushed |
1 cup white flour |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1 cup m&m's plain chocolate candy |
Directions:
1. In a double boiler melt chocolate squares and 1/4 of the butter.
2. Pour into a bowla dn beat in sugar and remaining butter.
3. Add eggs while beating.
4. Stir in crushed cookies and flour.
5. Spread into greased 13 X 9 pan.
6. Sprinkle chocolate chips and M&Ms over top and press lightly into batter.
7. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
8. Cool before cutting into.
