6 oz. bittersweet chocolate |
2 1/2 cups flour |
3/4 tsp salt. |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon expresso powder |
1 tbsp cocoa |
12 tbsp usalted butter |
1 cup granulated sugat |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 large eggs |
18 unwrapped caramels, halved |
Directions:
1. 1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. 2. melt chocolate in microwave 3. 3. mix together flour, baking soda, salt and expresso powder. 4. 3.cream butter, add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. 5. 4.Add vanilla and blend. 6. 5.Add eggs, one at the time and stirr in melted chocolate. 7. 6.Add dry ingredients, and mix perfectly. 8. 7. with a little ice cream scoop make the cookies and press caramel in center. 9. 8. bake until light brown. 10. enjoy! |
