Double Chocolate Brownies |

My favorite brownies! Fudgy, dark, rich, chocolate chip brownies. Just pour that glass of milk and enjoy. From the back of a Nestles bag MANY years ago. Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup butter |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons water |
1 12 ounce bag chocolate chips |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Set oven to 325. In bowl, mix flour, soda & salt; set aside. In saucepan, mix butter, sugar and water and bring JUST to a boil. Remove. Add 1 cup chips & vanilla. Stir until smooth. Turn into large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining chips. Spread into greased 9 square pan. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool completely before cutting. Can double and bake in 9 x 13 pan (and I ALWAYS do!). |
