Double Apple Spice Muffins |

Fat free heart healthy muffins that taste like their full of goodness. Ingredients:
4 cups diced apples |
3 1/2 cups whole wheet flour |
5 teaspoons baking soda |
2/3 cup splenda granular |
1/2 cup egg whites or 1/2 cup egg beaters egg substitute |
2/3 cup applesauce |
1 cup skim milk |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking soda, and splenda in a large bowl and sift until fluffy. 2. Mix milk, applesauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and milk in a separate bowl. 3. Slowly add liquid mix to the dry while constantly stirring. (it will be a thicker batter). 4. Start to fold in the apples until even throughout batter. 5. Srapy Pam on a muffin pan and spoon the batter to the top of each cup for larger muffins. ( for smaller fill 3/4). 6. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until tops are golden. 7. Let cool and enjoy! |
