YUM! Simple and delicious. I skipped the part where you pour into warm sterile jars because it wasn't going to last long anyway. Recipe courtesy of Creative Cooking Christmas Dinners and Special Occasions. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup red wine vinegar |
1 stick cinnamon |
3/4 teaspoon whole cloves |
4 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen) |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, vinegar, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a large saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Add berries and cook slowly without stirring until all skins pop open. 4. Pour into warm sterile jars and seal. 5. Note: Chill before serving. At serving time, spoon these delicious cranberries into a serving dish. |
