Ingredients:
2 cup(s) flour |
3/4 cup(s) hot broth |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 whole chicken |
Directions:
1. Stew whole chicken til tender. Save broth. Shred chicken into bite-sized pieces. 2. To make pastry, combine flour, salt, and 3/4 cup broth. Roll out very thin. Cut into 1" strips. 3. Boil remaining broth and add pastry strips. Shake pot several times while adding strips, making sure broth covers strips before adding more. Cover and simmer 10 min without lifting lid. |
