Donut Bread Pudding

Yummy recipe I saw on TV. A little different because of the donuts. Great for brunch or dessert.
Ingredients:
16 unglazed cake donuts (day old is best), broken up.
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups heavy cream
5 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup superfine sugar
1 tsp vanilla
sauce
1/2 stick butter (4 tbsp)
2 cups powdered sugar (1/2 lb)
dark rum (or cola and extract, see alteration)
Directions:
1. Put broken donuts into buttered 13x9x2 baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins.
2. Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla, just until completely incorporated.
3. Add eggs and mix, then add cream, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Pour egg mix over bread, make sure all bread is covered and soaking up the liquid.
5. Soak for 10 minutes.
6. Cover and cook 40 minutes.
7. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes to crisp it up.

9. Melt butter, add pdrd sugar and mix. Add rum (or cola and extract) to taste and consistency. Should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
10. Drizzle over pudding, and let it soak in.
