I'll do just about anything to get out of washing another pot, so I love this recipe. I cut it off a Golden Grain pasta box about 25 years ago! I couldn't begin to guess how many times I have made this. I usually throw some chopped onion and garlic in with the ground beef. Ingredients:
1/2 lb. ground beef |
3/4 cup water |
2 - 15 oz. cans or 1 - 32 oz. jar marinara sauce |
1 tsp. salt |
1 - 8 oz. package lasagna noodles |
1 cup ricotta cheese |
12 oz. sliced or grated mozarella cheese |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F. Brown ground beef; drain. Add water, Marinara sauce and salt. Bring to a boil. In 2 qt. oblong baking dish layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, Ricotta and mozzarella cheese; repeat layers, ending with sauce. Cover tightly with foil and bake for one hour. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Garnish with Parmesan cheese. |
