I made these for my dogs and they just loved them. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon instant bouillon granules |
1/2 cup hot water |
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder |
1/3 cup vegetable oil |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) jar bacon bits |
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. 2. In a medium bowl, dissolve boullon in the hot water. 3. Add remaining ingredients, stirring until well blended. 4. On a lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness. 5. Use a bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out dough. 6. Transfer to a greased cookie sheet. 7. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until firm. 8. Transfer to a rack to cool completely. 9. Store in an airtight container. |
