This actually calms a upset dog's stomach. I make it whenever anyone in the house throws up and because I own 3 German Shepherds, it's A LOT. Unsalted chicken stock is difficult to find but it's worth it, I am concerned about the mass amount of sodium. This is not intended for a diet substitute, just for a sick dog or sometimes I make it as a treat. Nice and easy recipe. Ingredients:
14 ounces brown rice |
26 ounces unsalted chicken stock |
chicken |
Directions:
1. 1. Be sure to cook chicken thoroughly.
2. 2. While chicken is cooking, cook rice according to directions using the unsalted chicken broth instead of water.
3. 3. Add cooked chicken.
