Ingredients:
2 cups grated parmesan |
2 tablespoons dry mustard |
1/4 cup cayenne pepper |
2 tablespoons whole coriander, ground |
1 tablespoon fennel seed |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 sheet puff pastry |
Directions:
1. Combine the Parmesan, mustard, cayenne, coriander, fennel, paprika and pepper in a bowl. Sprinkle half of the mixture onto a work surface. Place the puff pastry on top of the mixture and sprinkle the remainder on the pastry. Roll mixture into pastry. Using a pizza cutter, cut pastry into 4 sections of 1/2-inch strips. Place strips on parchment-lined sheet pans. Freeze for 1 hour. 2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Turn off oven, leaving door ajar for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool. Straws can be stored in airtight containers for up to 1 week. |
