Yummy, flavorful soup that's great on a cool day. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 lb mild sausage (i use turkey) |
1 (28 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, undrained |
5 cups beef broth |
1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
3 teaspoons italian seasoning |
1 (3 ounce) can sliced black olives |
1 (16 ounce) container cottage cheese (i use low fat) |
2 cups pasta, cooked (i use radiatore) |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and sausage, drain if necessary. Add tomatoes, broth, spaghetti sauce, seasonings, olives and cheese. Simmer about 30 minutes. Stir in cooked pasta and heat thru. |
