Ingredients:
2-1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1/4 cup(s) white syrup |
1/2 cup(s) water |
2 whole(s) egg whites beaten stiff |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, syrup and water and cook until it forms a soft ball (244 degrees). Pour hot mixture into beaten eggs a little bit at a time. When all in in, add vanilla and beat until it comes to a hard peak. Put food coloring in. If it has a shine, you haven't beaten it long enough. 2. Spoon onto wax paper with tablespoon. Let chill. May add chopped pecans. |
