This recipe makes a WHOLE lotta cookies!! Don't ask me where the name came from. This recipe came from East Point Women's club cookbook. Ingredients:
2 cups brown sugar |
2 cups white sugar |
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
2 cups oil |
4 eggs |
4 cups plain flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups oatmeal |
1 cup chopped nuts |
1 cup coconut |
4 cups cornflakes |
Directions:
1. Cream sugars, vanilla, oil & eggs 2. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt & soda. 3. Mix together the creamed mixture and the sifted mixture 4. Add oatmeal, nuts, coconut and corn flakes. 5. Mix again 6. Drop from spoon or shape into rounds on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. 7. Bake at 325 degrees F for 12 - 15 minutes. 8.
