Its a southern favorite,my mom taught me to cook this great dish. Ingredients:
1 lb chicken gizzard, chopped very fine |
1 lb pork or 1 lb ground beef |
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup bell pepper |
1/4 cup celery |
4 cups cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Brown ground meats in oil in a heavy pot. 2. When browned add chopped onions,pepper and celery. 3. Cook all together on medium heat for 15 minutes. 4. Add cooked rice,mix well simmer for 10 minutes on very low heat. 5. Season to taste. |
