This is a fun cake for a kids party. Ingredients:
1 8 oz package of cream cheese - room temp |
1/2 stick of butter - room temp |
1 c confectioners sugar |
2 small packages of vanilla instant pudding |
3 1/2 cup milk |
12 oz container of cool whip |
1/2 package of chocolate sandwich cookies - like oreo, crumbled |
or |
1/2 box of nilla wafers, crumbled finely |
Directions:
1. MIX - cream cheese, butter and confectioners sugar till smooth - set aside
2. MIX - Vanilla instant pudding and milk with mixer till it becomes thick, add cool whip and mix well. Add the cream cheese mixture and blend well.
3. DIRT CAKE - using a clean pot - one used for planting = ) or lots of little ones - layer chocolate cookie crumbs in the bottom, spoon a layer of mixture on top, repeat with cookies and mixture till all is gone - Cookies should be on top - it will look like dirt.
4. SAND CAKE - Using a childs small beach pail - or lots of little ones - start with a layer of nilla wafers, then pudding repeating layers till all is gone, with the nilla wafers on top. It will look like sand. = )
