Dipped Gingerbread Cookies

These are sooo good with a hot cup of tea.
Ingredients:
2 c sugar
1 1/2 c oil
2 eggs
1/2 c molasses
4 c flour
4 tsp baking soda
1 tbl ground ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
additional sugar
2 12 ounce pkg white baking chips
1/4 c shortening
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, oil & eggs; mix well
2. Stir in molasses.
3. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture and blend well
4. Shape into 3/4 inch balls and roll in sugar
5. Place 2” apart on ungreased cookie sheets
6. Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins. or until cookie springs back when touched
7. Cool
8. Melt chips and shortening together in small saucepan
9. Dip cookies 1/2 way , shake off excess
10. Place on wax paper lined sheets or racks until set
