My sister-in-law gave this recipe to me. You can cover and refrigerate or bake. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/2 cup uncooked elbow macaroni |
1 16 oz. can pork & beans |
1 16 oz. can tomatoes |
1 10 3/4 oz. can tomato soup |
1 large onion, chopped |
Directions:
1. In large skillet in hot butter saute beef with onion, chili powder, salt and pepper until beef looses red color. 2. Meanwhile, cook macaroni, drain. 3. Place beef mixture and macaroni in casserole, stir in beans, tomatoes and soup. Cover, refrigerate. 4. Heat oven 400 degrees. Bake covered 1 hr. 10 minutes. Remove, let stand 10 minutes. |
