this is very tasty, and can be baked alongside a roast, at 350,, 325,,375degrees. carrots potatos, dill. Ingredients:
4 large potatos |
2 carrots |
1 onion, minced |
2 t butter |
1 t dill weed |
1/2 t pepper |
1/2 t salt |
2 t milk or cream |
Directions:
1. peel and shred carrots and potatos 2. squeeze potatos and discard liquid 3. toss potatos ,carrots, onion. put in a smallish buttered dish. 4. sprinkle with salt, pepper, dill. 5. dot the top with butter, pushing some down into mixture. 6. drizzle milk over 7. bake 1 hour at 350. 8. cover with foil if dish starts to get too brown |
