An extra good way to make carrots taste better (my favourite veg!) Ingredients:
6 -8 medium carrots |
1/4 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups chicken stock |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon liquid honey or 1 tablespoon maple syrup |
1/4 cup fresh dill |
Directions:
1. Peel and split the carrots. 2. Place balance of ingredients in a medium pot and bring to a boil. 3. Add carrots and cook until still firm but not crisp. 4. Drain and serve. |
