Great warm with real salted butter. Ingredients:
1 pkg yeast |
1/4 cup warm water |
1 tbsp sugar |
1 cup cottage cheese |
1 tbsp minced onion |
1 tbsp butter |
1 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp baking soda |
2 tsp dill seed |
1 egg |
2 - 2- 1/2 cups flour |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl mix yeast, sugar and water. 2. Let sit until proofed (bubbly). 3. Then the rest of the ingredients except for the flour. 4. Slowly work in the flour. 5. Knead to make dough stiif but springy. 6. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled. 7. Punch down and let rise again. 8. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes or until golden. |
