I tended bar in college at Dick's bar in Hudson, Wisconsin. This was their custom recipe for the BEST bloody mary ever! This makes enough mix for a very busy bar. Mix all ingredients and add vodka to taste. Ingredients:
5 gallons tomato juice |
2 cups orange juice |
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle dark beer |
1 cup dill pickle juice |
1 cup worcestershire sauce |
1 cup salsa |
1/2 cup prepared horseradish |
1/2 cup concentrated beef base (paste) |
2 tablespoons ground black pepper |
2 tablespoons celery salt |
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (such as tabasco®), or to taste |
Directions:
1. Stir tomato juice, orange juice, dark beer, dill pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, salsa, horseradish, beef base, black pepper, celery salt, and hot pepper sauce in a large container until beef base and celery salt have dissolved. |
