This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hager Estate in Canton, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
9 ounces frozen french green beans |
4-1/2 ounce jar sliced mushrooms drained |
3 tablespoons melted butter |
1/4 teaspoon crushed rosemary |
1/4 teaspoon basil |
3 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds |
Directions:
1. Cook green beans according to package directions. 2. Drain and add mushrooms and keep warm. 3. Combine butter, rosemary and basil and spoon over beans and toss. 4. Sprinkle with almonds before serving. |
