Oriental Low Carb, Low Fat Dinner Ingredients:
3 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce |
1 tbsp ginger root, grated |
1 tsp splenda |
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper |
1 clove garlic |
1 lb ground chicken |
1/2 c celery, chopped |
1/2 c water chestnuts, sliced |
170 g lettuce (leaf lettuce) |
Directions:
1. Combine soy sauce, ginger, crushed red pepper, and garlic; set aside 2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium high heat until hot 3. Add chicken and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking up pieces with side of spoon 4. Add celery to chicken in skillet and cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Add water chestnuts and soy sauce mixture; cook 1 minute to blend flavors. 6. Add dry roated peanuts, coarsely chopped if desired...adds cals, carbs and fat per peanut nutrition facts. |
