A yummy, spicy meal. Great for cool weather! The serving here is for 1/2 cup. Ingredients:
4 cups water |
8 green peppers, seeded |
3 cups tomatillos, blended |
5 cloves garlic |
1 small onion |
2 tspn salt |
3 pounds pork, fresh, shoulder, blade, bone-in |
5 potatoes, peeled, cubed |
Directions:
1. Chop up tomatillos and put in blender with water, garlic, onions, peppers and salt 2. Put in large soup pan at medium heat 3. Chop up pork into bite-sized pieces, trimming any extra fat. 4. Add pork and bring to a boil for 20 minutes. 5. Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occationally 6. Change to medium heat, add potatoes and cook for 15 minutes more or until potatoes are tender 7. Serve and enjoy! |
