Having a diabetic relative, I often make special desserts. Courtesy: by Chris Smith, The Diabetic Chef Ingredients:
12 oz whipped cream cheese spread |
2 t (or more to taste) splenda, granular form |
1/4 c brewed coffee |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup frozen light topping thawed |
2 boxes fillo tartlet shells(athens brand) baked |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese spread, splenda, coffee and vanilla in medium bowl. 2. Fold in whipped topping. 3. Use a spoon or pastry bag to fill tartlets. 4. Refrigerate until firm. 5. For garnish sprinkle unsweetened cocoa, mixed with splenda on tops. 6. Nutritional Information: 7. Per serving:60 calories, 5 g fat, 1 g protein, 3 g carbohydrate, 0 8. dietary fiber, 14 mg cholesterol, 60 mg sodium.
