This recipe is just delicious. Great for anyone on a low carb, low calorie, or diabetic diet. This recipe came from Diabetic Living. Ingredients:
1 reduced fat graham cracker crust |
1 egg white, lightly beaten |
3 cups no-sugar-added ice cream |
1 large banana, sliced |
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced |
2 tablespoons sugar-free chocolate syrup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Brush pie shell with egg white. Bake 5 - 7 minutes. Cool on wire rack. 3. Spread ice cream in the cooled pie shell. Cover and freeze at least 4 hours or up to one week. 4. To serve, arrange banana and strawberry slices over the ice cream. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Cut into wedges. |
