Ingredients:
1 carton(s) beef broth (32 oz) |
1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper |
2 tablespoon(s) butter / margaraine |
1 bag(s) garlic / herb croutons |
1 med white/yellow onion |
1/4 cup(s) sherry |
1 bag(s) shredded / sliced provolone |
1/2 tablespoon(s) thyme |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in pot 2. Slice onions and add to butter 3. Add black pepper 4. Cook until onions are clear, stirring frequently (about 3 mins) 5. Add beef broth, sherry, thyme 6. Bring to boil 7. Reduce to simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 mins 8. After soup is in bowls, add croutons and shredded cheese to top |
