This appetizer pairs sweet dried fruit with smoky, salty, crispy bacon. Ingredients:
4 slices center-cut bacon, cut crosswise into thirds |
12 prunes |
12 toothpicks |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Wrap a piece of bacon around each prune and secure with a toothpick. Place on baking sheet and bake until bacon is crispy and cooked through, about 10 minutes, turning prunes halfway through. Serve immediately. |
