A main course meal. Easy to prepare and yet a touch of elegance. Ingredients:
1 -1 1/2 lb beef round steak |
1/4 cup flour |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
3 tablespoons canola oil |
1/2 cup water |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
2 teaspoons horseradish |
2 teaspoons prepared mustard |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
10 -12 crepes |
Directions:
1. Cut meat into thin strips, coat with flour. In skillet, brown meat, onion, garlic in hot oil. 2. Stir in water, tomato sauce, vinegar, horseradish, mustard, salt and pepper. 3. Cover and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes, or until meat is tender. 4. Fill warm crepes with meat mixture; fold over and serve immediately. 5. Makes 10 to 12 crepes. |
