My grandma used to make these for me. She said they come from the Blue Willow Inn in Georgia. Ingredients:
12 large eggs |
2 teaspoons mustard |
3 slices crumbled cooked bacon (optional) |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup relish |
1/4 cup chopped celery (if desired) |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Boil eggs and once cooled cut in half length wise. 2. Mix all ingreients and egg yolks into a large mixing bowl. 3. Place Mixture into egg halves. 4. Top with bacon bits if desired. |
