I adapted this recipe off TV many years ago. It is a family favorite. Ingredients:
1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces |
1/2 cup melted butter, divided |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 pinch cayenne pepper |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Dip chicken pieces into 1/4 cup melted butter and place in a 9x13 inch baking dish. 3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. 4. In a medium bowl combine remaining 1/4 cup melted butter with paprika, salt, mustard, chili powder, cayenne pepper water; mix together and pour mixture over chicken. 5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for another 30 minutes. |
