Taken from a detox book found in the bargin basement of ikea. An alternative to butter. Ingredients:
4 corn on the cob |
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper |
Directions:
1. Place Cobs into a pan of simmering water (do not add salt). 2. Bring to the boil over a high heat and then reduce to a simmer for about 20-30 minutes or until the corn is a bright yellow and tender. 3. Drain and Dab excess water with kitchen towel. 4. Drizzle the Oil over the Corn Cobs and then gently rub all over. 5. Sprinkle pepper over cobs and serve as an accompaniment. |
