Derek's Slow Cooker Chili |

After trying many chile recipes, this has become our family favorite. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 lb ground pork |
1 (16 ounce) can light kidney beans |
1 (16 ounce) can dark red kidney beans |
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans |
1 (16 ounce) can great northern beans |
1 cup yellow onion, chopped |
1 cup bell pepper, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons ground cumin |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in a large skillet. 2. Add remaining ingredients to a 5-6 quart slow cooker. 3. Drain grease from meat and add to slow cooker. 4. Stir to combine. 5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. |
