This is super easy to make and delicious. Add a piece of fruit and you have a complete, balanced breakfast (protein, carbs, and fruit) Ingredients:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats |
1 teaspoon flax seed |
1 teaspoon coarsely chopped pecans (about 5-6 pecan halves) |
1 teaspoon dark brown sugar (or to taste) |
1 cup 2% low-fat milk |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large microwave-safe bowl. Stir. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Allow to sit 2 minutes to thicken. Stir and enjoy. |
