You'll never taste sugar cookies as soft as these! Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup shortening |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1/2 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Add sifted flour mixture a little at a time to wet ingredients; mix until well blended. 2. Roll out dough on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out cookie with cookie cutter. 3. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Don't over bake. 4. Decorate with frosting and sprinkles. |
