A healthier version of turkey burgers featured in Real Simple Magazine Ingredients:
3/4 lb ground turkey |
1 medium zucchini |
1 medium carrot |
2 garlic cloves |
3/4 teaspoon thyme |
3/4 teaspoon sea salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
2 egg whites |
Directions:
1. Grate zucchini and carrot; chop garlic. 2. Combine turkey, zucchini, carrot, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, and egg whites in a large bowl. 3. Divide into four patties. 4. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and cook patties about 7 minutes on each side, or until no trace of pink remains. |
