Delicous pound cake amd simple to prepare! Great topped with fresh fruit and icecream! Ingredients:
3 cups of pre-sifted cake flour |
1 cup of real butter |
6 large eggs |
1 teaspoon of vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda |
3 cups of sugar |
1 cup of sour cream |
1 teaspoon of lemon extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF. 2. Grease and cake flour tube pan or 2 (8 inch loaf pans). 3. Cream butter and sugar. 4. Add eggs one at a time. 5. Add sour cream, lemon extract flavoring and vanilla. 6. Sift flour and soda together and add 1/2 cup at a time. 7. Pour into prepared pans(s) and bake at 325ºF. for 1 1/2 hours. |
