Delicious and Easy Lasagna |

I received this recipe for my wedding and have used it to death. It can feed a big group of people. Ingredients:
1 lb extra lean ground beef |
1 quart spaghetti sauce |
1 cup water |
1 (15 ounce) carton cottage cheese |
8 ounces mozzarella cheese |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
1 egg, beaten |
1/3 cup water |
1 tablespoon parsley flakes |
1 dash nutmeg |
1 dash salt and pepper, to taste |
12 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef, then add marinara sauce and cup of water. Boil then let simmer. 2. Mix all other ingredients excluding lasagna noodles, in a separate bowl. 3. In a 9x13 glass baking dish layer: uncooked lasagna noodles, meat sauce, and cheese mixture three times. Top with additional 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. 4. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F degrees for 40 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 15 minutes more. 5. Let stand 10-15 minutes before cutting and serving. |
