I wanted an authentic Italian meatball recipe that was good enough for company. Here it is!!! Ingredients:
1 large onion |
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
2 large eggs |
1c parm cheese |
1/4c fresh parsley |
1c dried bread crumbs |
1/4c milk |
1 tbsp jarred chopped garlic or fresh to taste |
italian seasoning or basil and oregano to taste |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients together in a large bowl. 2. In a large frying pan, make a mini tester meatball and cook until done. 3. Taste and adjust seasoning to the rest of the mix. 4. Make golf ball-sized meatballs and fry until browned, but not quite cooked all the way through. May want to do this in batches. 5. Add to a pot of sauce and simmer until meatballs are cooked through. |
