My mother-in-law made this each year for Christmas. Hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/4 lb butter |
3 tablespoons water |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
hershey bar |
Directions:
1. Placed chopped pecans in 8 x 8 inch pan. (I spray with Pam.). 2. Mix sugar, water, and vanilla in saucepan. Cook until a light brown - about 10 minutes - hard crack. 3. Pour over nut in pan. 4. Top with chocolate bars. 5. Let sit until set. 6. Break into pieces, and store in airtight container. |
