I made this up and it turned out well. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons yeast |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 cup water |
1 tablespoon bacon grease |
3 slices crisp bacon |
3 cups flour |
2 eggs |
bench flour |
Directions:
1. Proof yeast in warm water with honey. 2. Add rest of ingredients 3. Knead until smooth 4. Let rise until double. 5. Punch down and put in bread pan that has been greased with bacon grease. 6. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until bread is browned. |
